Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 8 October 2026
1. Who publishes this site
clearvolume.online is published by DAVITON s.r.o., Bílkova 855/19, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, company registration number 24697168, VAT number CZ24697168. Reading the site means these terms apply between you and DAVITON s.r.o.
2. What the site is
It is a five-step informational course about trying a desktop game for the first time. It is general reading material. It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, medical or security advice — and it is not tailored to your circumstances, which we know nothing about. It is also not accredited training: there is no enrolment, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification, and nothing on this site should be described to anyone else as a credential.
3. Decisions are yours
The checklists are prompts for your own judgement, not instructions you are obliged to follow. You decide what software to install on your own computer, what to spend and what to agree to, and you remain responsible for those decisions. If a situation matters enough to need certainty, take advice from someone qualified to give it or go to the relevant regulator, several of which are linked from the course.
4. Accuracy and change
We write the course as carefully as we can and review it at least twice a year, but the things it describes move. Operating system menus are renamed, product details change, prices change, classification decisions are made and updated, and a page we link to may move or close. Details about any game should be confirmed on that game's own site and with the relevant Australian authority before you act on them. We do not promise that the site is complete, current or uninterrupted.
5. Third-party sites
The course links to other websites, including the sites of Australian public bodies and one paid affiliate link described on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Those sites are outside our control. We are not responsible for their content, their products, their prices, their terms or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific reason the link is given.
6. Trade marks
All brand names on Clear Volume, Raid: Shadow Legends among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Clear Volume, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.
7. Our content
The text, layout and design of this site belong to DAVITON s.r.o. You are welcome to print the checklists for your own use and to share a link to any page. Republishing the text elsewhere, in whole or in substantial part, needs our permission; ask at info@clearvolume.online.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law permits, DAVITON s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this free informational site, including loss arising from reliance on general guidance that did not fit your circumstances. Where liability for a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the relevant information again.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction. If you read this site as a consumer in Australia, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of Australian consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law, which continues to apply to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect, and the version on the site at the time you read it is the one that applies.
