Clear Volume

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 8 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to personal information in connection with the website at clearvolume.online. The responsible entity is DAVITON s.r.o., Bílkova 855/19, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, company registration number 24697168, VAT number CZ24697168, contactable at info@clearvolume.online. Where this policy says "we", it means DAVITON s.r.o.

DAVITON s.r.o. handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, which are published by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles. The structure below follows those thirteen principles in order, so that you can check each one against what this site actually does.

This policy covers clearvolume.online and nothing else. The affiliate link on this site leads to goradar.xyz/a/G63NqSA23kfYrjy, and that destination, the game publisher behind it and every other site linked from the course all operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information

This document is the whole of our policy and is linked from the footer of every page. The site is built so that there is very little to manage: static HTML and CSS with one short first-party script, no third-party resources of any kind, and no database. Questions go to info@clearvolume.online.

APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity

You can read every page of this course without identifying yourself. Nothing on the site asks who you are. If you write to us you may use a pseudonym or an address that does not carry your name, and we will reply to it. The one exception is a request for access or correction, where we need to be reasonably satisfied of your identity before we act.

APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information

Two categories of information exist in connection with this site, and only two.

(a) Server access logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs when a page is requested. Each entry can contain the IP address making the request, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string identifying your browser and operating system.

(b) Email you send us. If you write to info@clearvolume.online, we hold your email address, any name you give, the content of your message and any attachment.

Nothing else is collected. There are no forms, no input fields, no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no progress tracking and no quiz. The checklists do not record which boxes you have ticked, because they are printed shapes rather than controls. There are no cookies, no web fonts, no analytics, no advertising tags, no profiling and no cross-site tracking. When you load a page on this site, your browser requests nothing from any other server.

APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information

Sometimes an email contains personal information we did not ask for and do not need in order to reply — details about third parties, documents attached by mistake, or background a sender has volunteered. Where it is lawful and reasonable to do so, we delete that material rather than keeping it. Where we cannot delete it, it is treated under this policy like anything else we hold.

APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information

This section is that notification, and the pages that lead to it say so. The logs described above are collected automatically by the hosting provider as part of serving a page; nobody has to tell us anything for that to happen. Email is collected only because you chose to send it. In both cases the purposes, the retention periods and the recipients are set out below, and the contact address for questions is the one at the top of this policy.

APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information

Access logs are used to keep the site available, to investigate abuse such as automated attacks, and to diagnose faults when a page fails to load. Email is used to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of the exchange in case you write again about the same thing.

Neither category is used for any other purpose. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. Disclosure to a court, regulator or law enforcement body happens only where the law requires it of us.

APP 7 — Direct marketing

We do not carry out direct marketing. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, no promotional email and no course reminder, and we do not supply anyone else's marketing with information taken from this site. Writing to us does not add you to anything, because there is nothing to be added to.

APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information

Two service providers are involved in running this site: our hosting provider, which serves the pages and keeps the access logs, and our email service provider, which carries messages to and from the contact address. Neither is named in this policy.

Both providers may store or process data outside Australia, including in locations we have not specified here. Information in the access logs and in email can therefore be held on servers in another country. If you would like to know the current providers and the countries involved before you write to us, ask at info@clearvolume.online and we will tell you.

APP 9 — Government related identifiers

This principle has almost no application here. We do not adopt, use or disclose any government related identifier — no tax file number, Medicare number, driver licence number or similar — because nothing on this site ever asks for one. If you send one to us by mistake, it is treated as unsolicited information under APP 4 and deleted.

APP 10 — Quality of personal information

The small amount of information we hold comes either from your own email or automatically from a web request, so it is as accurate as what was sent. We do not enrich, append or verify it against any other source. If something we hold about you is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

APP 11 — Security of personal information

The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. There is no database, no form handler and no stored submission of any kind, which means the usual targets simply do not exist here. The hosting account and the mailbox are reachable only by people working for DAVITON s.r.o., each with their own credentials.

We hold no certification and claim no compliance with any security standard, because none has been assessed. We delete what we no longer need, as set out next, on the basis that information not kept cannot be lost.

Retention, by category

Server access logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted or overwritten by the hosting provider. Email is kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation, and then deleted — unless it is needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim, in which case it is kept until that matter is finished.

APP 12 — Access to personal information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you. Write to info@clearvolume.online with Privacy request in the subject line. There is no charge for making a request, and we reply within 30 days. In practice a request about this site produces very little, because logs are short-lived and we hold nothing else unless you have emailed us.

APP 13 — Correction of personal information

If information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, ask us to correct it using the same address and subject line. We will correct it, or explain why we have not, within the same 30 days.

Affiliate links

When you click the affiliate link in the course, you leave clearvolume.online. From that moment you are on the website of the game publisher and of the affiliate network that operates the link, and those organisations may use cookies or similar technology on their own domains to record that the referral came from here. That happens under their policies, not ours, and we have no control over it and no access to it.

What we receive is a commission report from the affiliate network: aggregated figures about referrals and payments. We use those reports only to reconcile what we are owed. We do not seek, request or receive information that identifies individual readers, and we do not try to match anything in a report to anything in our logs.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled personal information, write to info@clearvolume.online and describe the problem. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints, which explains how to lodge a complaint and what the OAIC can do.

Data breaches

If we become aware of unauthorised access to, or loss of, personal information connected with this site, we assess promptly whether it is likely to result in serious harm. Where it is, we notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Children

This site is not directed at people under 16. It is a reading course for adults and it collects nothing that could identify a child, because it collects nothing that could identify anyone who does not email us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Information for readers in the EU, the EEA and the UK

DAVITON s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the following applies in addition for readers to whom European data protection law applies.

Our legal basis for keeping server access logs is our legitimate interests in operating a secure and functioning website. Our legal basis for handling email is the steps taken at your request to deal with your enquiry, and our legitimate interest in keeping a record of correspondence. We do not rely on consent for anything, because the site sets no cookies and uses no storage, so there is nothing to consent to.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection in relation to information we hold about you. Exercise any of them by writing to info@clearvolume.online. You may also lodge a complaint with our supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz, or with the authority in your own country of residence.

Changes to this policy

When this policy is revised, the effective date at the top is updated. Where a change is material — a new category of information, a new recipient, a different retention period — a short note saying so is shown at the top of this page for 30 days after the change.
